with a degree in Real Estate and Finance from New Mexico
State University. He has been an active member of the North
Metro Denver Realtor Association for more than seven years.
Cordrey is involved in several community organizations and
non-profits in the north Denver Metro area. He has donated
time as an instructor, teaching Business Practice and Agent
Orientation to new members of NMDRA, while also periodically
serving on the Boards Bylaws Committee and is a certified
instructor at the Colorado Association of Realtors. Cordrey
is authoring a new class to assist new agents in establishing
and growing their real estate businesses.
Cordrey is a director/member of the Capital Facility Foundation,
a non-profit organization developed to help collect funds
slated for the construction of area schools.
He sits on the Key Communications Group for the Brighton
School District and was elected to the 27J Board of Education
in 2003.
In addition to his activities in community service and NMDRA,
Cordrey still manages to run a successful real estate practice.
He has consistently ranked in the top two percent in sales,
averaging more than $10 million in resale sales volume annually
over the past eight years. In addition to burgeoning resale
business, Cordrey is a partner in the marketing efforts at
Clover Meadows, a $25 million new home project located in
the heart of Brighton.
Cordrey holds the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Accredited
Buyers Representative (ABR), Certified Residential
Specialist (CRS), Certified Residential Broker (CRB), and
Master of Real Estate (MRE) designations from the state and
national Boards. He is also a member of the Sales and Marketing
Council for new home sales and holds the Certified Sales
Professional (CSP) designation. Continuing education is always
a priority for Todd, and he is in the process of earning
the ePro and SRES certification and is a candidate member
of MIRM.
In 2002, Cordrey was honored with the Outstanding
Citizen of the Year Award by the Brighton Chamber of
Commerce. His work in residential real estate also helped
him land a seat on the Board of Directors at Almost Home,
Inc., a non profit organization that helps families and individuals
with housing and transitional needs.
But most of all for Todd Cordrey, its family first.
His passion for spending quality time with his wife, Margo,
and their three young children, Alexi, Zane and Lincoln,
supersedes only his fondness of the residential real estate
business and his commitment to giving back to the community
in which he lives and works.
